"We are One" – Citizen Participation

Politicians, town administration and numerous citizens worked together with one mission: to create a brand initiative that would bring people in a divided town together and to design a strong character that is authentic and will work as a mean of identification for everyone living, working, or doing business in the town of Ansfelden.
One of the main goals was the involvement of the town's interest groups and their parliamentary groups in the joint process of brand development, to guarantee a high awareness of the project. The town consists of 14 districts that vary a lot in character, wealth, and demographics. People tended to identify only with their district rather than with their town (by saying “I am a Nettingsdorfer.” instead of “I am an Ansfeldner.”).
